One of the leading artists of the French scene, Cabanne plays all over the world. He grew up with Jazz & Soul music and started his musician's carrier as a guitarist before getting to know the electronic music world. Party animal from the premises, he discovered electronic music first with an Atari, then in rave parties.
Stakeholder of the idea that music has to be shared, he is at the origin of many collaborations like Ultrakurt with David Gluck or Copacabannark with Ark. Alongside these two projects, he also was a member of the legendary project Narod Nikki gathering artists like: Dandy Jack, Dimbiman, Luciano, Daniel Bell, Richie Hawtin, Akufen or Ricardo Villalobos…
After he co-founded Telegraph in 1999, he created Minibar in 2005. His new imprint is now one of the most respected French labels. Cabanne regularly organizes Label nights in different Parisian clubs (Rex Club, Showcase) where he invites lots of his friends to share the decks with him.
15 years ago, Cabanne was amongst the first French DJs playing in Berlin and Eastern Europe. Today, he’s often invited to play at the Get Perlonized night (Panorama Bar), and is also a resident at Concrete (Paris) and Klub Der Visionaere. Throughout his career, Cabanne got noticed for his personal idea of music and a true artistic integrity, which make him a unique artist.
